The Schutt F7 2.0 maintains the iconic design of its predecessor while offering improved impact resistance for maximum athlete protection and comfort. It has earned a 5-star safety rating from the Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings, with an impressive 1.35 score (the lower the score, the better the performance compared to the average 5-star helmet score of 4.12). The RFLX-S impact layer absorbs and deflects impact forces before they reach the athlete's head, while the interior and exterior Tektonic plates distribute impact across the entire helmet.

The helmet features a fast-access inflation point for easy use by athletes, parents, and equipment managers. The industry-first stacking pod system provides enhanced athlete comfort and improved fit flexibility, complete with two 1/4 lateral sizers. The Pro mode includes a Quarter Turn Quick Release System, not visible in the photos.
